DUI Symbolism

Jungle green and silver gray are the colors traditionally used by Psychological Operations units. The sword represents military preparedness and has three combined cutting edges to denote teamwork and under-score the battalion’s numerical designation. The flashes are arced, simulating a circle, highlighting the importance of each army element’s role in total combat readiness. The sword and flashes together reflect the three sources and types of propaganda.
